1988.

Trintignant
Maurice Trintignant, nicknamed "Le
Petoulet", hero of the racetrack in the 1950s died on 12 February, aged 87.
Trintignant was a close friend of Jean Daninos, founder of Facel, and used his Facel Vega
cars to move between races.
